Colorado State Senator Kevin Lundberg won the Second Congressional District Republican primary race by a margin of 53%-47%. “This race came down to the people who know me best – they understand the principles that I want to bring to Washington.”
Now this race moves on to the main event – replacing the liberal policies of President Obama and his supporters like Jared Polis with sound policies based on the principles of limited government and fiscal responsibility.
After a spirited primary, the Republicans of CD 2 have decided who they want to represent them in Washington. At 10:20pm Senator Kevin Lundberg received a concession call from his primary opponent, Eric Weissmann. He congratulated Senator Lundberg on his win and also offered his endorsement. “I appreciate Eric’s endorsement. We both agree that the liberal policies of Jared Polis and the Obama administration need to go. Now it’s time to pull together and make the case to all of the people in CD 2 that fiscal responsibility must be brought back to Washington.”
